Totally random man
Friday, January 30th, 2009
I have finally got my ipod ‘scrobbling’ to last fm and my itunes library uploaded. It makes for sometimes fascinating and sometimes embarrassing reading. I tend to listen to my ipod on random going to and from work. I can’t be bothered to choose an album to listen to out of a 30gb ipod. Apparently [...]
Bad actress
Wednesday, January 28th, 2009
Finished my Godfather box set finally with an unwanted watch of part 3. Its good I kept telling myself as I was bored to tears for nearly three hours, only waking slightly when watching how bad Sophia Coppola’s performance was. I know you shouldn’t dwell on it and I love some of her films she’s [...]

Broken face
Monday, January 26th, 2009
Last night I shaved off my beard which I had been itching to do for around a week. Not really sure why but I thought it was time for a change. Shelley mentioned the other week that she would like to see my face and I thought so would I. What I didn’t expect was [...]
Tower of strength
Saturday, January 24th, 2009
This tower near Glossop North End football clubs ground is in the process of being demolished. I think it was some kind of timber plant originally. D calls it the ‘just magic tower’ due to a kids ball pit/play area nearby. I though they made quite interesting poladroids.
The Beta Band Rap
Friday, January 23rd, 2009
Unloved albums part 1 The Beta Band by The Beta Band is such an unloved album that even the band themselves have labelled it ‘fucking rubbish’. I have to admit though that this album has stood up well for me over the last ten years or so. I love the originality of it all and [...]

Eden Lake

Watched this last night. i think it could have been quite good but at points was completely unbelievable in how its characters acted and behaved. You wouldn’t go into someones house like he did and they wouldn’t have stayed onthe beach while the ‘yobs’ next to them played load obnoxious music an dwere staring at [...]
Get up, stand up
Wednesday, January 21st, 2009
Booked tickets yesterday for Richard Herrings tour. We see him at the Frog and bucket in Manchester in March, I love Richard Herring and he should have a much larger audience than he does. The same goes for Stewart Lee and many other unsung comedy heroes. Yet Peter Kay gets richer and richer by just [...]
Gladiator
Wednesday, January 21st, 2009
I have managed to keep up to date with the movies I have watched so far this year and keep a record of them here(for myself really) I have missed out these though. Gladiator was a rewatch. Not seen it for a few years and I watched it with a few beers and a plastic [...]
